RankedTiers is a dedicated Minecraft PvP server built around one thing: fair, competitive fights. Pick a kit, queue up, and get matched against someone at your skill level. Every win and loss shifts your Elo rating and pushes you through 10 tiers — from Bronze all the way to Godlike.
How to Join
Open Minecraft
Java Edition, Bedrock, any version.
We support all clients via ViaVersion and GeyserMC.
Add the Server
Go to Multiplayer, add rankedtiers.club and connect.
Pick a Kit & Fight
Right-click the Diamond Sword in your hotbar to queue for Ranked. That's it.
How Ranked Works
Elo Rating
Every player starts at 800 Elo. Win a match and you gain Elo, lose and you drop. The amount you gain or lose depends on your opponent's rating — beat a stronger player for bigger gains.
Per-Kit Rankings
Your Elo is tracked separately for each kit. You could be Diamond in Sword but Iron in End Game. Master one or dominate them all.
Avg Elo
Your overall Avg Elo is the average of your Elo across every kit you've played. The overall leaderboard ranks players by this number.
Monthly Seasons
Elo resets each season. Prove yourself again, grind the ladder, and push for higher peaks.
10 Tiers × 3 Levels
Each tier has 3 levels (1, 2, 3). Climb from Bronze 1 to Godlike. Click a tier to see the levels.
Overall Avg Elo
Your position on the overall leaderboard is determined by your Avg Elo — a straight average of your Elo across every kit you've played:
Only kits where you've played at least one match count toward the average.

What is RankedTiers?
RankedTiers is a competitive Minecraft PvP server with ELO-based rankings across 8 kits, clans, and monthly seasons. Players queue for ranked 1v1 matches and climb 10 tiers from Bronze to Godlike based on their ELO rating.
Is RankedTiers free to play?
Yes — RankedTiers is completely free. There are no pay-to-win mechanics. Optional cosmetic ranks (PRO, PREMIUM) help support server hosting but provide no gameplay advantage.
How does the ELO ranking system work?
Every player starts at 800 ELO. After each ranked match your rating shifts based on the result and your opponent's rating. Beating a stronger player gives you more points; losing to a weaker player costs you more. ELO is tracked separately per kit.
What kits are available?
There are 8 ranked kits: Sword, Axe, Diamond Pot, Cart PvP, plus four progression kits — Early Game, Mid Game (Diamond SMP), Late Game (Spear & Mace), and End Game (Crystal PvP). Each kit has its own leaderboard and tier list.
What is the server address?
The server address is rankedtiers.club. Connect from the Minecraft Multiplayer menu on Java Edition or Bedrock Edition. The server supports all Java versions from 1.8.x through 1.21.x via ViaVersion.
Does RankedTiers support Bedrock Edition?
Yes. Bedrock Edition players can connect through the GeyserMC bridge and play on the same servers as Java players, with all combat mechanics standardized for fair matches.
What are tiers in Minecraft PvP?
Tiers are ranked skill brackets ordered from Bronze (entry level) up to Godlike (the elite tier). RankedTiers has 10 tiers: Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Emerald, Obsidian, Netherite, and Godlike. Each tier has 3 sub-levels.
Can I form a clan?
Yes. Players can create clans with a custom tag and color, invite members, and compete on clan-specific leaderboards. Clan ELO is the average of members' best ELO across all kits.
Do my stats reset every season?
ELO ratings reset at the start of each monthly season so the ladder stays competitive. Lifetime stats (total wins, matches played) are preserved across seasons on your player profile.
What's the difference between ranked and unranked matches?
Ranked matches change your ELO and tier — every win or loss counts toward your competitive rating. Unranked matches let you practice the same kits and arenas without affecting your rating, perfect for warming up or trying new strategies.
Are cheats, hacks or auto-clickers allowed?
No. Any form of cheat client, killaura, reach, autoclicker, macros, or movement modifications is bannable on first offense. The full rules are at rankedtiers.club/rules. Allowed mods: cosmetic shaders, optifine-style FPS mods, minimap (no entity radar).
How does matchmaking work?
When you queue ranked, the matchmaker pairs you with the closest available opponent by ELO. If no one is in range after ~30 seconds the search widens. Per-kit ELO is matched separately — your Sword rating is matched against Sword opponents.
How do I report a player or bug?
Use the feedback form at the bottom of this page, or post in the #report channel on our Discord (discord.gg/QtdR99ZY). Include the player name, what happened, and any screenshots / recordings if possible.
